At YOGA WAREHOUSE we offer small, intimate classes that
concentrate the individuals needs. All our courses are designed to help
beginners feel confident at the level that they are working, and nurture
the students natural process
Understanding Yoga Styles
HATHA GENTLE A great place to start for those who want
to develope freedom of movement &
cultivate awareness and control.
HATHA DYNAMIC A free flowing sequence, with awareness
on the movement between postures. Great for developing balance.
IYENGAR Physically orientated. Balancing, strengthening
& aligning the body and mind.
ASHTANGA A dynamic flow of postures in a set sequence
using the breath and movement.
Must have some level of fitness.
PRE - NATAL Prepare the body and mind before, during
and after the birth of your baby.
MUM & BABY A class for you and your baby.
KIDS YOGA
The classes for children are presented in a manner that is fun and inspiring,
incorporating creativity and play. Much more than just physical exercises,
the classes include relaxation and meditation techniques and games that
improve mental focus and memory, ease mental tensions, encourage self
awareness and can be of great benefit to correcting behavioural and emotional
disturbances. The classes promote and maintain flexibility, co-ordination
and strength.
Class Level
BEGINNERS LVL 1 No experience is needed. You will be
taught basic standing postures, some forward bends and light twists.
BEGINNERS LVL 2 After completing at least one beginners level1
course. You will begin working deeper into postures, along with preparations
for backbends and inversions.
GENERAL LVL 1 Concentration, endurance, strength and flexibility
will be gained. Full ga back bends and inversions will be introduced.
GENERAL LVL 2 Polishing, deepening and focusing.
Your own practice is encouraged. MYSORE Ashtanga at your own level and
pace, while being adjusted by the teacher.
PLEASE DISCUSS WITH A TEACHER IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF WHICH STYLE OR LEVEL
IS MOST APPROPRIATE FOR YOU.
